FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH
OF SOUTHAMPTON, UCC

WORSHIP
We believe in our worship we give God thanks and praise through prayers and songs. The homily helps us to make sense of the world in which we live while being faithful to Jesus.
We know that people’s worship preferences differ. Consequently, each month we offer two different types of worship:
Traditional: This is our weekly service with prayers, hymns, scripture, and a homily. We learn through the homily. It takes place in our sanctuary every Sunday at 10:00 AM.
Quaker-style: We have a modified Quaker-style meeting once a month. We gather for 30 minutes to allow the Holy Spirit to speak through us. This service takes place on the last Sunday of the month at 9:00 AM in our Parish Hall.
