WORSHIP

We believe in our worship we give God thanks and praise through prayers and songs. The homily helps us to make sense of the world in which we live while being faithful to Jesus.

We know that people’s worship preferences differ. Consequently, each month we offer three different types of worship:

  • Traditional: This is our weekly service with prayers, hymns, scripture, and a homily. We learn through the homily. It takes place in our sanctuary every Sunday at 10:00 AM.

  • Family Worship: This is a service for the entire family, particularly to engage our children’s questions about God. This year our focus is God’s Creation. The worship is informal, and everyone can ask questions of the pastor and of each other. Weather permitting, we worship outdoors. Everyone, even families without children, is welcome. This service takes place the second Sunday of every month at 10:00 AM (as our location may change each month, please check with the church office for that month’s location)

  • Quaker-style: We have a modified Quaker-style meeting once a month. We gather for 30 minutes to allow the Holy Spirit to speak through us. This service takes place on the last Sunday of the month at 9:00 AM in our Parish Hall.
