Condolences are extended to Marian Cawrse and her family on the loss of member Len Cawrse who peacefully entered into eternal life on Friday, April 24th. In lieu of visits at the Loomis House, Marian will receive brief visits from friends and well wishers on Wednesday April 29, from 1-3 pm, at her home, 10 Parc Place, Unit 3 in Southampton. There will be a Memorial Service for Len held at the First Congregational Church of Southampton on Saturday, May 2nd at 11 am. A BELATED THANK YOU Thank- you to Bill O’Grady for naming “The First Congregational Church of Southampton, UCC” as a designated charity recipient for the tips received for his participation in a charitable event at Opa-Opa Restaurant a few weeks ago. Approximately $975.00 in tips were given to Bill as a “celebrity server” at this event! Thank you, Bill, and thank you to all who donated!
CALLING ALL ANIMAL LOVERS!!! K.H.A. (Kids Helping Animals) in conjunction with the Missions Committee will soon be holding a fundraiser to raise funds for the care and support of our 4-legged friends in the Pioneer Valley. BIG Y STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM: Bev Ruszala is the person to see if you need Big Y gift cards. She will receive your orders and distribute the cards during coffee hour. Order forms (available on the table in the Old Sunday School Room or online) may also be placed in the “Green Box” which Beverly checks each week. Please keep in mind that April is 6% month!
EPILEPSY BENEFIT WALK: Wally Rapalus will be walking on May 16th, along the Charles River in Boston, to raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation. Help make a difference in the lives of those living with epilepsy. Wally will be receiving your pledges in the Parish Hall during Coffee Hour. Thank you.
CHURCH CLEAN-UP DAY: Thank you to everyone who pitched in and gave their time and effort to help “spruce up” our church building and grounds! Thank you also to the Trustees who keep things running too! We appreciate it!
STAR ISLAND SUMMER CAMP: Portsmouth, New Hampshire offers church camp programs for individuals, adults, and families. It is operated by the Star Island, United Church of Christ (SIUCC) and is open and welcoming to all. Information about camp programs is available in the church office. PARENTS PLEASE NOTE: There are children’s bulletins and Bible activities available on the table in the narthex area (outside the sanctuary) for your children to participate in the weekly Bible lesson during worship or to take home with you. Please be sure to pick one up! Also, a take home family devotion book called, “This Season at Home” is available for our families on the tables both downstairs and upstairs. This guidebook has activities for families to enrich their spiritual lives. Please take a copy.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR COFFEE HOUR HOSTS: Please make sure that coffee hour refreshments do not contain any form of peanuts or tree nut products! Any contact (even when not consumed) can trigger serious health danger for some in our congregation. If you have any questions, please see Rev. Dee or contact Diana Belisle at # 527-8235. Also, there is a list posted on the refrigerator with suggestions for coffee hour snacks, in case you need it.

She may be reached at (413) 203-1742, and at foghollowfarm@charter.net Please let Terry know if you would like to donate your flowers to those who may be shut in, hospitalized, or in need of a cheerful pick-me-up.
